I'm a sucker for any kind of deviled egg, but these kimchi deviled eggs are my absolute favorite. I mix the yolks with mayo, finely chopped kimchi, sesame oil, and just a touch of gochujang and rice wine vinegar. Top with sliced scallions and black sesame seeds. 👌🏼

I've never done a proper , but I've done several stretches of eating (because, I like butter and honey! 🤷🏼♀️) and each time it gets a little easier. It's a lot of work, but I do like the way I feel when I remove grains/dairy/sugar/alcohol from my diet for awhile. However, when I eat this way, I've learned that I have to give myself a lot of grace. (I'm a working mama, for crying out loud, and it already feels like there aren't enough hours in the day.) For example, I made myself an amazing salad today - leftover ground beef (from yesterday's dinner), served over a bed of cabbage, carrots and kimchi. And you know what?! I used STORE BOUGHT DRESSING (Annie's organic shiitake dressing! Contains no sugar!) because it saves me a couple of minutes and I am totally ok with that. You gotta pick your battles, ya know?

Inspired by Brooklyn Supper's roasted tomatillo chicken tortilla soup, I made my own paleo-ish version. (After a week of delicious bday celebrations, my body is telling me to lay off the sugar and grains and booze for a bit). Anyway, I followed Elizabeth's recipe but topped mine with avocado, green onions, cilantro, roasted jalapeños and grilled corn. It was perfection! 💚

Inspired by Ottolenghi's Instagram, I made Green Beans with Pistachios and Preserved Lemon. It's simple, fresh, and my new favorite green bean recipe!

Researching snack recipes for an upcoming catering gig, and I need this Caramelized Onion Dip in my life! http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/caramelized-onion-dip-recipe.html
Caramelized Onion Dip A grown-up remake of the onion dip I loved as a kid. This one features lots of deeply caramelized onions, sour cream and Greek yogurt.

It's good to be back in the kitchen again! 🌽 This is one of my favorite recipes from the archives - Summer Corn and Vegetable Chowder. You start with homemade corn stock and a lot of fresh thyme, then add fresh corn, summer veggies, and cream. Perfect summer eats.
