Anytime in life, we all have moments that remain with us. So what better way than to capture it within a photo?

here are some photos seen from my mind's eye through a photographic medium.

Parker’s Alley, Downtown Detroit

‼️ Fun Fact ‼️
Parker’s Alley was established in 2019 alongside the Shinola Hotel project.

After the devastating fire of 1805, Detroit’s spirit didn’t break — it rebuilt. A thriving Black community rose up, fighting back against slavery and leaving a permanent mark on Detroit’s social, political, and economic landscape.
Among the pioneers were Elizabeth Cooper, Pompey Abbott, Hannah Ashlee, and Thomas Parker — Detroit’s first Black landowners. Parker owned Lot 70 in Section 7, right where we stand today.
In honor of that legacy, Shinola Hotel named this historic walkway Parker’s Alley.

Checking out the Lloyd Center, I was able to get some of these liminal photos. Although there were people around, it still had moments without anyone.
