One of our favorite neighbors at Park Lane Suites & Inn is the Portland Japanese Garden It's one of the most acclaimed and award winning Japanese gardens outside of Asia. It's so beautiful and peaceful there, you can't visit it without feeling relaxed and refreshed at the end of your time. Portland and the Northwest as a whole is rightly famous for its outdoor activities and one of the best spots to visit, is right in the backyard or Park Lane Suites & Inn. Forrest Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States and features over 70 miles of trails that range in difficulty to provide access for even a novice hiker. It's truly a beautiful spot that you should pay a visit to when you come through Portland.

Forest Park Forest Park, at 5,200 acres, provides critical refuge for hundreds of native wildlife and plant species and acts as an important air and water filter. With more than 80 miles of trails, it also provides invaluable access to nature, exercise, and educational opportunities for the region.

Located just a short distance from Park Lane Suites & Inn is the historic Pittock Mansion, Portland OR. This mansion was built in 1914 and is a beautiful place to take a tour or walk the trails which connect to Forrest Park. The views from the mansion grounds are breathtaking and you should definitely make this a spot to visit on your next trip to Portland.
