Participate in a research study focused on perceptions of donor human milk and human milk banking. The purpose of this IRB-approved study is to better understand attitudes, knowledge, and perceived barriers related to donor human milk, with the goal of informing targeted interventions to promote the appropriate utilization of human milk banking. They are currently recruiting individuals who are pregnant or lactating (up to six months postpartum). Participation involves completing a brief, anonymous survey, and participation is completely voluntary.

I'm excited to announce a new blend in my herb cupboard: LACTATION INDUCTION SUPPORT BLEND! Developed in collaboration with Alyssa Schnell, IBCLC, author of Breastfeeding Without Birthing, this blend contains organic moringa, goat’s rue, and shatavari.
Individuals induce lactation for many reasons: surrogacy, adoption, co-nursing with their partner who is birthing, or other personal reasons. This herbal blend is also supportive for relactation. Order online in 4oz, 8oz, 16oz, or 32oz sizes and pick up in our NW Portland office, or we will ship to you!

Two studies have shown milk production improvement the first few days post delivery with ginger supplementation. Puenprom et al., 2026 found an average 20 mL milk production increase post C-section delivery compared to placebo group. Paritakul et al., 2016 demonstrated an average 56 mL increase in their ginger group as compared to placebo. Both groups reported no adverse events. Really want to read more on ginger? Anh et al., 2020 did a systematic review of over 109 RCTs on ginger!
