What do you do that deserves a gold star?

We couldn't be more excited to welcome back three familiar faces to The Shadow Project team!

Cole is joining both the Operations and Programs teams. Keep an eye out for him during SuperSensory Space Maintenance Checks, or catch him at the warehouse stocking up for the Shadow Store!

Sophie and Mike are back and ready to lead the way as Lead Mentors with the Reading Mentor program, bringing all their experience (and enthusiasm!) right along with them.

Our Outreach and Partnerships Manager, Wendy Wray, is a speaker at Get the Brain on Board, a FREE audio summit for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of school-age children!

Hosted by Carrie Bonnett, Executive Function Coach, the summit brings together experts to talk about the skills, behaviors, and everyday challenges that can leave both kids and parents feeling frustrated.

Wendy's conversation will focus on Goal Setting, and she’ll be sharing practical ideas you can use to support the children in your life.

The summit is free, however, there is an option to upgrade for ongoing access to recordings, transcripts, notes, and additional resources. If you decide to get the All-Access pass and use our link, The Shadow Project may receive a small commission (at no additional cost to you).

What tools are used in a SuperSensory Space?

It's stocked with large motor tools like a small trampoline, crash pad, balance beam, tunnel, and body sock, along with fine motor tools like Legos and kinetic sand. By following a set course, students use the tools to regulate and get ready to head back to class.

Our Programs team has installed 4 new SuperSensory Spaces so far - including this one at Margaret Scott Elementary School - with 2 more on the way.
