Fav pattern of the week. Issey Miyake - love!! I so want someone to buy this and whip it up so we can see it for real!! Who’s up for that?

Earlier this month we lost one of the most interesting & creative designers in the world of fashion…Issey Miyake. His designs will forever be remembered and loved around the world. had a wonderful post on their IG feed last week…highlighting the story of the man and his designs. My love & admiration of him goes back to the 80s. A few of my all time favorite pieces are listed as original uncut Vogue Vintage Patterns in the Patterns With a Past ETSY shop. Two of these pieces found their way into my very short stint in the conservative black/grey fashion world of investment banking. (I know…what in the world was I thinking that I would enjoy being a part of that sector? Not that there is anything wrong with it. Just wasn’t for me.
