Alameda Plateau Cohousing | Aging-in-place within a community centered, collaborative and supportive environment.
Located in NE Portland, a group of friends came together to build their ideal living scenario, including common outdoor spaces, culinary and crafting spaces, and a future caretaker space. The design maximizes interior daylight, differing privacy zones, seamless integration with the outside, and green infrastructure. The landscape features multiple microhabitats throughout the property, featuring native plant palate and edible garden zones.
Keep an eye out for the green roof install this fall!

Nestled in the spectacular southwest setting of Mancos, Colorado, Mancos Common Press envisioned an extension to their circa-1910’s letterpress, design and arts workshop. This 3,650 sf expansion maintains a strong connection between indoor and outdoor areas, and features multi-use community art-making and active spaces with a street-facing community plaza. On the upper level, three workforce apartments overlook the Mancos River and mountains that extend toward Mesa Verde.
In the over two years it took for this project to come alive, numerous community members and groups were instrumental in fundraising and advocating for this popular community amenity. We are so honored to have been part of this!
Fun fact: This is the 1st new building in over 100 years to be constructed in the downtown Mancos Arts District!
