Social media perpetuates the culture of performative, superficial, branded activism.
How would your activism change if social media disappeared tomorrow?

Social media commodifies activism and thereby commodifies and normalizes suffering.
Don’t detach from what makes you human. Cry. Grieve. Rage. Channel your energy into activism; not into a numbing doom-scroll.

We’re tired of looking at our screens. Meta apps are addictive by design.
We’re looking forward to divesting from Meta to the best of our ability.

We have found ourselves using social media compulsively, fixated on creating content over creating change in our communities.
Are you an active or a passive consumer?

We’re being heavily surveilled through social media.
Nurture your activism on the ground. Not on Instagram.
