This album was self-recorded/mixed at the same space we’ve been writing and rehearsing in for the last year. For us, there is a lot of honesty and excitement in these recordings. These songs are a little slice of what we’ve been working on for some time now. We’ve had to endure some challenges and set backs, but finally the music is coming to fruition.

As I (Adam) laid in a hospital bed earlier this year, struggling with an illness out of control, I continuosly stared at the flowers a couple friends and family brought me that sat on the windowsill for over two weeks. Time slowed down to the point where I began fearing it would maybe stop, watching the flower petals begin to fall one by one. I wrote these feelings down and later on turned them into lyrics. I felt so fortunate to leave that hospital, when things finally started taking a turn for the better.

Playing in this band is everything, feeling connected to the people you are making music and art with is something we don’t take for granted, and are currently thriving in. We love each other, and love what we are doing together.

And yes, there is a Death Cab For Cutie cover. While we were out celebrating Ben’s birthday, Stevie said “okay, hear me out- let’s cover We Laugh Indoors…” Ben immediately said it’s been a favorite for the longest time. Admittedly and strangely enough, it’s been one of mine too for at least 20 years. Gareth is literally the sweetest you’ll ever meet and went with the idea. We had a lot of fun taking on the challenge of performing this song in the context of our weird hardcore screamo whatever band. Hope y’all enjoy it all too
