For this 40-guest celebration, we transformed a long, narrow coastal setting into a seamless, multi-experience wedding: a ceremony overlooking the ocean, a flowing cocktail hour, layered lounge moments, a thoughtfully placed bar, an extended dining table for a shared meal, and space for dancing and live music—all without ever disrupting the landscape.

With clear skies and an unexpected 80° October day, the setting felt almost surreal—proof that the Oregon coast can offer both drama and warmth for a destination wedding experience.

2025 might have been the year of green + white. 🌿🤍

This was actually the second look of the day. We flipped the entire room after their lunch celebration, transforming the space into a fresh reception setting for the evening.

And build timelines. And wrangle vendors. And make it distinctive.

There’s a lot to hold right now.

We’ve been a little quieter here—not from disengagement, but from being deeply in life. With our clients, our community, our families, and much unfolding behind the scenes at J29.

This season has been filled with meaningful client work, thoughtful rebranding, and preparing for a year ahead that will take us across the West Coast in 2026.

In moments like these, we find ourselves stepping outside—into quieter places, into the simple act of showing up locally. When the bigger picture feels heavy, offering time, care, or attention feels like a steady place to land.

We’ll be more present here again—when it feels aligned, not forced. Presence matters more to us than posting for the sake of it.

We hope you’re taking care of yourselves, too. These winter months offer space for rest and reflection before the warmer seasons carry us back into motion.

Hello—I’m Shauna, founder of J29 Events, a luxury wedding planning and event production studio serving the Pacific Northwest and destination locations.

I work primarily behind the scenes, producing refined, detail-driven weddings with depth, intention, and distinctive elegance. Between leading our planning team and life with our young family, my presence here is thoughtful rather than constant.

As we look ahead to our 2026 wedding season, we’re especially excited to connect with newly engaged couples seeking a collaborative, design-forward planning experience.
