We're still reliving our Grandparents and Special Friends Day at St. Rose! We started our day with Mass, and our students got to sit with their grandparents or special friends. Fr. Britto got our students up to the altar to bless their grandparents and special friends. The day was filled with coffee and donuts, classroom activities, and the popular all-school recess. Our guests also got to view the middle school science fair and the Scholastic Book Fair.

A couple of weeks ago, our 3rd and 4th-grade students put on a production of "My Oregon Report" by Mr. Ralph Nelson. He originally wrote a handful of musicals for his wife and now shares them with children to produce and perform.
Mr. Nelson has been working with Miss Leach and Mrs. Rischiotto's Classes since October! They did a magnificent job playing out the History of Oregon!

Come hang with us! 🛝✨
Join us for a joyful morning of play, connection, and community right here in NE Portland! At St. Rose School, children are truly known and loved, families become lifelong friends, and our staff feels like family.
This outdoor play date will take place on our playground, giving little ones a chance to play while parents connect with our community. Informal tours will also be available for families interested in learning more about St. Rose and exploring our campus.
While this event is focused on our youngest learners in PreK–2nd grade, all prospective families are warmly welcome to join us! 💛

Last Friday (05/01), our 5th graders were the faith leaders of our School Mass. May is dedicated to Mary, and it is customary to venerate her. Mrs Groven and her 5th graders placed a flower crown and offered flowers to start Mass, and led the readings and petitions of the faithful.

We decided to have a little fun with our 2nd graders and the bubbly Miss May! We took a fun little video outside with the sun shining. We had to lend the kids some sunglasses. 😎
