Since East End Microgreens moved to 52 Grant St., classical music has constantly been playing in the little green room. And, although we closed at the end of 2019 plants have been growing there as well. For the first time the room is silent and dark. I took out the last two trays (one of Amaranth and the other of Cilantro) to grow on the porch. The cilantro is growing well and available for anybody who wants some. I transplanted the Amaranth and expect to transplant them again in a month. By then they will be available as well. I have very little room outside and on the porch for plants, so let me know if you want some. I don't check this page so if you want some you will have to e-mail me at my personal e-mail address, call me, or just drop by. Paul E. Conley

East End Microgreens closed for business as of the end of 2019. It was a wonderful experience, and I met a lot of interesting people in the culinary world. However there other things I want to do in my life. Since my retirement I have been working hard and enjoying it. I kept saying that most of my work was such that I could "punch the clock" to begin or end work whenever I wanted, but my microgreens were my most demanding boss. I am still going to work hard, but I am also going to take a lot of time off to do what I want. Hope that you all have a wonderful New Year.

EEMG enjoying the Holidays at Vinland

Just went for a bite to eat at Top Of The East an EEMG client! Lobster sliders with our red radishes. Then had a nice desert with a view of back bay. The Westin's congress square restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. Not many places to get a late dinner as good as Top Of The East!

Bread and Butter: Vinland chef David Levi works to build a coastal Maine cuisine 05/25/2017

If you have not met David Levi or eaten at Vinland you should do so. His second restaurant, Trattoria F***y, under separate management, is also great. In the meantime, check out this first in a series of articles in the press herald's food section.
