Huge shoutout to everyone who took part in our 2026 PCCF Unofficial Open. It was awesome seeing so many of you challenge yourselves and support each other over the past few weeks.
We’re continuing through our Competition Phase, focusing on maintaining strength and conditioning while keeping training balanced and sustainable.
Highlights this week:

🌸 Friday: Gymnastics ladder + core work (and the first day of spring!)

PCCF WEEKLY PROGRAMMING 💥
March 9–15
Final week of the Open season and we’ll take on 26.3 this Friday in class. Great work to everyone who has been showing up and putting in the effort these past few weeks.
Here’s a quick look at the week:
Monday
Gymnastics skill and barbell conditioning with double unders, clean & jerks, and bar muscle-ups.
Tuesday
Engine work with machine intervals focused on pacing and consistency.
Wednesday
Heavy overhead squats followed by a fast sprint-style workout.
Thursday
Short, powerful intervals with shuttle runs, deadlifts, and burpees.
Friday
26.3 — final Open workout of the season.
Saturday
Team workout to close out the week.
Stay consistent. Keep showing up. 💚

We’re officially kicking off our Competition Phase — and that means Fridays = Open workouts.
Starting this week, we’ll be running the “Unofficial” 2026 CrossFit Open in class.
No formal judging.
No score verification.
Just showing up, holding yourself to standards, and supporting your community.
You’re absolutely welcome to register for the Open on your own — just know scores won’t be validated through PCCF.
We believe in the benefits of the season:

This week is about doing the basics really well — lifting with better positions, pacing smarter, and staying composed when the work gets uncomfortable. As we move deeper into Open Prep, you’ll see more barbell volume, longer engine pieces, and opportunities to sharpen skills while building durability. Show up, stay consistent, and trust the process.

We’re stepping into a new phase of HWPO programming — focused on sharper skills, stronger foundations, and repeatable conditioning that builds real momentum. This week = clean technique, controlled lifting, and workouts that challenge without crushing. Let’s get after it. 🔥
MON — Sn**ch + OHS / C2B / Row
Technical overhead work + descending intervals.
TUES — Back Squat Waves + DB Burpee Ladder
Leg strength → spicy engine.
WED — GOAT Day
Choose-your-skill EMOM: gymnastics + monostructural.
THURS — Rope Climbs • Deadlifts • Lunges
Simple. Grippy. Effective.
FRI — 20.2 REPEAT
DB thrusters • TTB • DU. A gritty classic.
SAT — HYROX CONDITIONING (9am)
Run → Ski → Run → Sled Push + Max Wall Balls.

We’re rolling into Week 2 of 2026 — rebuilding rhythm, sharpening movement, and getting everyone back into the groove. Let’s make it a strong one. 🔥
MON — Push Jerk + 2 AMRAP Ladders
Overhead power into two spicy 5-min ascenders (wall walks → thrusters + push-ups → front squats).
TUES — Deadlift + TTB + DU Sprint
Fast 6-round triplet. Grip, core, engine. A classic.
WED — Sn**ch EMOM + 30-20-10 DB/WB Grind
Power + stability up top, then DB step-overs, cleans, and wall balls for time.
THURS — Floor Press + Strict Gymnastics
Upper-body strength into rowing, strict pull-ups, and strict dips. Brutal in the best way.
FRI — Clean Complex + Open 18.2
Power clean → squat clean, then the classic: DB squats + burpees into a 1RM clean. 🔥
SAT — Big Team Chipper
Sn**ches, box overs, sit-ups, increasing weights. Long, sweaty, fun.

We move into — sn**ch EMOMs, skill work, rope climbs + deadlifts, and a repeat of Open 20.2. Time to dial things in.
