A few of our Connections First clinicians made their way across the pond for Transform Trauma Oxford 2026 — a gathering centered around Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing.

They spent their time learning, listening and exchanging ideas with people approaching trauma and healing from different disciplines, cultures and perspectives.

One thought from the conference especially stuck with them:

“No one has the whole answer. That’s why we keep coming back.”

We think there’s something pretty important in that. Good work doesn’t come from assuming we already know everything. It comes from staying curious, continuing to learn and being willing to let different perspectives change the conversation.

And doing some of that learning together in Oxford certainly doesn’t hurt. 💙

Our group practice, Connections First, is looking to hire an LCSW Supervisor!
We have two locations, NW and NE Portland. This position will split their time between these two locations.
This is a full time position with a salary of $75,000 - $85,000 a year.

Minimum qualifications include: actively licensed LCSW candidates only, three years post licensure experience, and registered as a licensure supervisor with the Oregon Board of Social Work.

Our benefits include: medical health coverage, paid time off, retirement plan, EAP benefits, insurances (unemployment, workers comp, liability, rental), full administrative support, on going in-house training/case consult on BRT, funding for approved supervision CEUs, and fully furnished large offices with conference rooms.
