HAPPY INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY!!! It's the day to celebrate books and some gorgeous spring weather. 🌞💕📚 Who will find the Golden Ticket at the Green Hand? The lucky winner will have a year's worth of free audiobooks (12 audiobooks in all)!!! Big thanks to and for supporting the little book peeps.

In an era which holds itself increasingly distant from human processes, it is good to remember that paper and ink are constantly being combined by hand to create new things. Photos taken during a happy afternoon spent absorbing the doings at Wolfe Editions, where letterpress printing goes on as a daily ritual. A wonderful thing indeed.

Novel's last day open is this Fri, April 17th. The 600 block here on Congress St, already beleaguered by scaffolding, is truly going to suffer from this loss. Please take a moment to stop into Novel, buy a tasty drink, tip your barista, grab a few books and say farewell.
