PCC Civic Leadership Development is screening "No Place to Grow Old," a film by Human's for Housing, tonight at PCC Cascade in the Student Union 203-204. Doors will be open at 5:00pm, with the film starting at 5:30pm and a short discussion afterwards.
No Place to Grow Old captures a growing crisis unfolding quietly across America: the increasing number of seniors facing homelessness. Set in Portland, Oregon, this poignant documentary follows the lives of three older adults navigating the harsh realities of life without a home. Through their stories of hardship and resilience, the film offers an intimate portrayal of the challenges they face, while also shining a light on the systemic issues contributing to their plight.
Featuring insights from local and national experts, No Place to Grow Old is a powerful call to action that emphasizes dignity and hope, envisioning a future where everyone, regardless of age, has a safe and secure place to call home.

Student Leaders for Service is a year-long leadership program that facilitates PSU students’ involvement in both the Portland State and greater Portland communities. Students serve at a community partner site on a weekly basis, supporting the work of the community partner and bringing its mission back to the PSU campus.
