Around this time every year it feels a bit like the final minute in Chopped, wondering if the soufflé in the oven is going be fully cooked, or even make the final plating. It’s also exhilarating, however, watching the new collections come together with such a wide-spanned collaborative effort, resulting in beauty, but in ways we weren’t expecting. Sneak-peaks on tap!

New year, new showroom! We will be announcing an opening event soon, but we are full in swing now with our new space, suite 1474 in The Mart. (NE corner of the 14th fl). Looking forward to seeing you in ‘23!

On this last day of 2022, Lapchi Chicago also concludes our nearly 20yr tenure on the 6th floor! While we look forward to our new environs on 14, we will dearly miss the daily passing by all of our lovely neighbors in the northwest corner .studio

Well, hello there Mirage LB14md with your customized Rothko-esque layout in wedgewood/linen hues, catching some lovely shadow-play on a brisk Wednesday morning. Carry on.

In theory, one *could* omit the high silk content in this updated version of Lapchi’s ikat inspired Honeycomb—but then again one could also cancel Netflix, dogs, mobile phones, beaches, and baby hedgehogs. More silk!

A range of sandy neutrals to deep coral hues in wool and silk fill out the Moab palette for Lapchi’s Reverie. Bring your favorite sunset indoors!

There’s the ol’ chestnut notion of a rug ‘really tying the room together’ — Our Stitches pattern is going for that, both literally and figuratively. With its extensive palette range that can be the backdrop or the rockstar, the rug abides.

Fade your Monday blues with Reverie in Chesapeake. Hand-knotted using a lovely variegation of 100% Himalayan wool.

The triangle is the strongest shape! Tricona is inspired by the geometric musings of local Chicago artist An ombré abrash foundation with a galaxy of varied silk motifs. Lovely to see and touch, but even lovelier to live on.
