As a part of our back-to-school campaign, The Communication Matrix Foundation is providing training for caregivers and therapists on using the Communication Matrix assessment to build consensus on a child’s communication skills with all members of a school team. The Communication Matrix will be reviewed including key features that may be useful to new users completing the assessment for the first time. Then, we will discuss common situations that can come up with new school teams and how the Communication Matrix can be used to gather baseline data, guide discussions, and ultimately form consensus. Finally, we will review how this data can be used to prepare for annual transitions in academic context between teachers, therapists and schools.

Como parte de nuestra campaña de regreso a clases, la Fundación Communication Matrix está ofreciendo capacitación para cuidadores y terapeutas sobre el uso de la evaluación de la Communication Matrix para construir un consenso sobre las habilidades de comunicación de un niño con todos los miembros del equipo escolar. Se revisará la Communication Matrix, incluyendo características clave que pueden ser útiles para los nuevos usuarios que completan la evaluación por primera vez. Luego, discutiremos situaciones comunes que pueden surgir con nuevos equipos escolares y cómo se puede utilizar la Communication Matrix para recopilar datos de referencia, guiar discusiones y, en última instancia, formar un consenso. Finalmente, revisaremos cómo estos datos pueden ser útiles para prepararse para las transiciones anuales en el contexto académico entre maestros, terapeutas y escuelas.
