The Fat Tire Farm is building a brand new trail at Rocky Point ‼️

This winter and spring, we’re working with to build the first trail in a newly expanded zone of the Rocky Point trail network.

📍 Located on the southern end of Rocky, The Farm is crafting a trail that flows its way down the fall line of a ridge line with properly steep sections towards the end. Sections to hold it wide open, immaculate corners, natural features, and an emphasis on keeping the trail raw with ample loam.

Sound like something you want to ride? We invite you to come help make it happen! 👋

🗓️ THIS SATURDAY kicks off our dig series. Join us in breaking ground and roughing in the first sections of trail.

Whether it’s your first time building trail, or you’re a dig day regular, it’s an opportunity to enjoy a weekend morning in the forest with fellow riders. Rain or shine, dig days always turn out to be a good time with the added satisfaction of giving back to your local trails. It’s riders like yourself that make these efforts a possibility after all!

Our dig days usually run from 9am to 3pm, including transportation to/from the trail from the trailhead, plus lunch. Speaking of, we have a hot lunch on deck courtesy of . All trail building tools will be provided.

RSVP now via the link in our bio or at – Fattirefarm.com

Let’s dig! ⚒️

We’re excited to welcome Henry to The Farm as our new mechanic! He’ll be wrenching at our Portland shop so next time you stop by, say hello! 👋

New to Portland by way of Bellingham, Henry is a wildly passionate cyclist with an impressive collection of bikes including a Crust, Standert, and a few other two wheeled gems. You’ll spot him crushing gravel, riding around town, and seemingly always having a good time on two wheels.

Stoked to have ya a part of the team, Henry! 🤝

is in the house! ⚡️

For the riders who enjoy gravel, road, all-road, all-terrain, adventure, mixed surface, anything really - these tires are for you!

Ultradynamico offers a range of tires to fit your riding dreams between different tread patterns and casings ranging from their ‘Race’ with top notch suppleness and grip, ‘Just For Fun’ as the everyday hero casing, and their seemingly bulletproof ‘Robusto’ casing. They're evangelists of higher volume, lower pressures - making these tires an absolute joy to ride.

🌹 The ROSÉ - A balanced mixed between pavement speed and gravel prowl. Your do it all tire that gets faster with age as the under tread becomes exposed.

🚀 The CAVA - Pure speed. Combing the free speed of a slick, with some extra traction and slash resistance.

⚒️ The MARS - Not pictured, but these offer all-out grip in loose terrain. A tire reminiscent of a classic mountain bike tire, combined with the tech and expertise of modern tires.

Our favorite of the bunch? Easily the ROSÉ Race for it’s looks and outright versatility. Run it as a pair for the ultimate Forest Park tire setup or combine it with a CAVA for some more pep in your step 💨

Stop by The Farm to treat yourself to a set of Ultradynamico tires. Scientifically, they’ll make your late summer/fall rides 62% better 📈

Which tire are you reaching for?

🏁 Another year of the Dog River Super D, in the books! 🏁

Sunday made for a pretty perfect day of racing. The community showed out and we couldn’t have asked for better weather or trail conditions. This one felt memorable.

It takes a village to make a race like this happen, we want to take a second to thank everyone that helped make it happen.

All the volunteers and staff involved, thank you! Each one of our race sponsors for contributing amazing raffle prizes. OBRA for running the clock. The Forest Service, Hood River County, and 44 Trails for such an amazing trail. Petr and Hurricane Racing. And most importantly, all of you racers for showing up and being so eager to race your bikes. Thanks for the good times!

Eager to be a part of an experience like this? Look out for our next race, coming soon ✌️

Welcome to The Fat Tire Farm, bikes.

This Barcelona based brand has been on our radar for some time now and we’re excited to bring their bikes into the shop and to the Pacific Northwest.

Unno founder and former World Cup racer, Cesar Rojo, has been at the cutting edge of mountain bike development for years. As an early pioneer of 'forward geometry’, it turns out he was on to something, as we're all riding mountain bikes with something like 'forward geometry' today.

Rojo and the team at Unno continues to push the envelope of mountain bike design with Unno's clean, modern, and fast looking aesthetic. Bikes that look like they’re from the future, but at the same time, absolutely rip modern day trails with their highly refined virtual pivot suspension platform. Unno has eye on sustainability as well, with each of their frames featuring nearly a ½ pound of upcycled ocean plastics. Between the bikes and the brand, we couldn't be more stoked to welcome Unno to The Farm.

Keep an eye out for Unno bikes at the Farm or on your local trails. Get in touch with us to order an Unno of your very own.
