Harmful Plants in Horse Pastures - What to Steer Clear of
Spring brings new growth, longer days, and more time outside for both horses and their owners.
But before turning horses out, it is important to take a closer look at what is growing in your pasture.
Harmful plants in horse pastures can emerge quickly after winter and may go unnoticed until they become a serious risk. Identifying and removing these plants is a key part of responsible pasture management.

Evacuating Horses: The Importance of Being Prepared
Recent events at the Global Champions Tour in Doha highlighted how quickly conditions can change, and how critical it is to be prepared when they do.
The event was cancelled just days before it was scheduled to begin due to rising regional tensions, prompting a rapid and coordinated evacuation of horses and riders.
Through significant logistical effort, all 147 horses were safely transported back to Europe.
While most horse owners will never face an evacuation of that scale, emergencies such as wildfires, floods, and severe storms can arise without warning.
Evacuating horses safely requires planning, preparation, and the ability to act quickly.

How to Teach Your Horse Tricks
Horses are highly intelligent animals capable of learning a wide range of behaviors, both practical and entertaining.
Research suggests that horses have cognitive abilities similar to a young child, with strong memory, awareness, and the ability to respond to human cues.
Because of this, learning how to teach your horse tricks can be both rewarding and beneficial. Trick training not only creates impressive moments, but also strengthens your connection, builds communication, and keeps your horse mentally engaged over time.

Cool product find!
We came across a magnetic sweeper by Bluestreak Equipment recently and thought it was a pretty smart tool for this time of year.
These mega-magnets are attached to a handle or on a roller for easy use in pastures, arenas, and turnouts to find loose nails, bits of tack hardware, and other hidden metal debris.
It’s a simple way to support safer pastures, cleaner arenas, and better overall barn management.
Small maintenance steps like this can make a big difference when it comes to protecting horses and keeping facilities running smoothly.

Project Highlight!
We helped with the renovation for the Kirkorian residence.
This upgraded design features a sprawling residential unit along with an equestrian facility and agricultural space.
Set on a stunning piece of property, this renovation project perfectly blended the best of both worlds: home life and horse life.
By working with the natural landscape and the owners’ vision, we helped transform a space that flows seamlessly, functions properly, and elevates the overall value of the property.
