Congrats to Stephen, for all the success in music composition lately! Not only did they coach their first music composition student into winning a state-wide award their first year, but they've also been selling compositions to chamber orchestras, AND have an interview for a music festival in Brazil! This celebration calls for ✨updated headshots✨ for sure!

We are so lucky to have such musical talent in Eastern Oregon. (We did take these pictures in Portland-- it was a good change up from my typical photography comfort zone!)

Over the last year, I've lost a lot of my energy to create. After severely breaking my elbow, I was on antibiotics for about 9 months, & couldn't really use my arm for almost 1yr. My immune system got wrecked by medication, which resulted in me feeling sick 99% of the year after I finished antibiotics.

So my energy & capacity to do the things I love, like photography, videography, & social media, disappeared while I focused on my healing.

Now it's all starting to come back, thanks everyone for your patience 🫶

Yeah Macaroni, I make that face too when my mom & dad kiss hehe.

Congrats to my best friend & her fiance, glad we could finally get your save the dates done. Can't wait to stand by your side on the big day!

My uncle Bruce has always had this amazing mushroom farm, but this was my first time seeing the “dinosaur p**p” in action (compost blocks, but as a kid my family told me it was dinosaur p**p.)

Anyways, I wrote a lot of my college capstone on how beneficial fungi foods & other natural plant medicines can be— & how the drug war negatively impacted research on it all & caused more addiction/racial issues.

When you’ve done research focused on mental health & addiction, you learn just how beneficial many of these little guys, including , can be for your mental & physical health.

I’m grateful to have such cool family, helping the world with access to such a beautiful, valuable species.

The network is the coolest, & it connects us all. If you want to learn more about fungi, what it can do for the world, & a lot of what I talked about here/in my capstone research, check out Fantastic Fungi— it’s finally on Netflix too 🤗 (We cited the same research— the folks who made that documentary, & my college capstone… the documentary/book is just way more engaging than my 15 page, times new Roman, single-spaced paper 😂)

Cutest little beekeeper you ever did see!

This was back on during my first trip out to Forest Cove Acres to help with a bee swarm. I brought out the little bee suit we have for my little cousins when my sister works with her bees. Nothing but smiles & fascination over here.

Theres something magical about bees.
