I wrote to you there, from the edge of the plain. over hallow grounds where the western winds arrive to find rest in the river bed. I wanted to close my eyes and meet you there. in the home we built from our tangled limbs. to ebb and flow in the ever changing motion of the tall grass, as you trace the lines in my palm to remind me how I will always find my way back to you.

My 6th wedding in Northern Ireland, on my 8th visit here. Over the years, this place has become a home away from home. It holds some of my most cherished memories in the last decade of my life. From my very first visit almost 10 years ago, til now - Northern Ireland, and more importantly the people here, always give me something to take back with my departure. Something intangible that I can’t quite explain. But it always leaves me standing there for a minute, in silence, wondering how it is that this is apart of my journey to take.
