‘Echoing’ out now.

🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑

The lyrics for my collaboration with 𝕸𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖆𝖘 𝕸𝖆𝖍𝖓𝖘 were inspired by the work of Professor Brian Cox and his study of the cosmos. It’s never too late to be reintroduced to the beauty and complexity of the universe, the billions of planets, and the echoes of light we see through time.

Thank you Matias! Thank you Professor!

Still can’t believe how lucky we were to film and record in the Portland Nursery. Such an amazing experience, with amazing musicians.

Have you heard our song ‘Sacred Regard’?

People often ask me why I don’t perform my own music live anymore.

For ten years I poured everything I had into being an independent artist. Every song, every tour, every late night drive home after another underpaid show was fueled by the belief that my energy, originality, and persistence would eventually matter.

Year after year I traded financial security for creative freedom, convinced that if I kept making honest art, there would be a place for me.

Instead, I found myself slowly worn down by an industry that often feels designed to reward those who already have connections or are willing to compromise their own vision for a sellable product. The further along I got, the more it seemed like the biggest stages, playlists, press opportunities, and awards revolved around an ecosystem where major labels largely amplify their own investments. Talent alone rarely feels like enough when marketing budgets, industry relationships, and corporate backing shape so much of what audiences are exposed to.

After a decade, the exhaustion isn’t just physical, it’s emotional. It’s watching your friends join major touring bands because they can’t afford to keep going with their own music. It’s spending thousands of dollars on recordings, videos, publicity, and touring while wondering if anyone is actually listening. It’s celebrating tiny victories that disappear beneath an endless flood of s*x appeal driven content. I began to question myself.

Was my music not good enough?

Did I fail?

Or was I trying to climb a mountain where the trail was never meant for people like me?

At one point in my career as a musician, I realized I had poured so much of myself into the work that I had zero hobbies outside of it. Motorcycles became my first real outlet. It was instantly a way to clear my head and reconnect with the world beyond the LA music scene. I rode for several years before a serious accident brought that chapter to an unexpected end, but the experience left me with a truly lasting appreciation for riding, resilience, and living fully.

Here I am about to rock out with Sleepy Sun during our first performance in Europe. I’m thinking this was Italy circa 2008 or 09.

What a Difference a Day Made.

One of those songs that reminds me how timeless a beautiful melody can be. Inspired by the incomparable Dinah Washington, whose voice carried so much elegance and emotional depth. Singing this classic is my small tribute to an artist who continues to shape the way I think about music. With me again is the talented Thefoxtooth on drums and vocals.

Hope you enjoy our rendition. ✨🎵🤓
