We had the privilege of shooting the 2026 Loma Linda Pickleball Classic in SoCal last weekend and I think I might have, surprisingly-to-me, fallen in love. 

Pickleball has this unique way of collapsing generations. I saw a tween competing with her dad, high schoolers sharing courts with retirees, and those in their eighties and nineties still lacing up the shoes. While it has a lot of the intense competitive moments you anticipate with sports, the thing that stood out to me the most was the communal nature of it.

If you’ve been on the fence to try it out, here’s your cue to head down to your local mom and pop Costco, grab a pair of rackets, and force someone to go and try it out with you.

We don’t just want to tell stories — we want to tell the whole story.

One of our photo series was recently featured by as part of their global spotlight on the reality of living with a disability. And we’re really proud of that — not only for the imagery, but because of the intention behind the imagery.

Too often, disability is shown only in extremes — either tragic or triumphant. But real life? It’s somewhere in the middle. It’s everyday routines, solo errands, coffee breaks, and quiet joy.

Representation matters because it helps all of us feel seen — and teaches the rest of us how to see more clearly.

We believe inclusion isn’t a trend — it’s our responsibility. And it starts with creating content that reflects real life, as it actually is.

We’re honored that one of our fishing shoots from 2024 was selected by Getty Images as a winner in their Creative Content Awards highlighting The Depiction of Men.

This project was such a fun one to be a part of — getting to capture visuals of longtime friends fly fishing together on The Deschutes River while experiencing the kind of authentic moments that say more than words ever could. We wanted to explore masculinity in its most grounded, natural form: connection, patience, peace, and presence.

To have that vision recognized is deeply meaningful to us. At Fly View Productions, we believe in telling stories that reflect real people and real emotions — especially when they help reshape outdated ideas of strength and vulnerability.
