🌿 Weekend Movement Snacks

Take a few minutes for yourself this weekend and explore these short movement sessions designed to help you move with greater ease, awareness, and joy.

This collection includes:
🦶 Feet
🦵 Knees
🦿 Hips
🌀 Pelvis
🌳 Spine

Each Movement Snack is only a few minutes long and focuses on simple, mindful movements that improve mobility, coordination, balance, and body awareness. Whether you’re a dancer, an athlete, or simply someone who wants to feel better in your body, these practices are for you.

Start with your feet and work your way up the body—or simply choose the one your body is asking for today.

Happy moving!

✨ Spirit Alive! Warm-Up Series ✨

Before we ask our bodies to move, dance, walk, or play, it’s worth giving our joints a little attention.

This gentle ankle and knee mobility sequence helps lubricate the joints, improve circulation, and wake up the proprioceptive system. Small movements can make a big difference in how supported, balanced, and responsive you feel.

Move slowly. Explore your range. Notice the difference.

Your joints love movement.

✨ Spirit Alive! Warm-Up Series ✨

Everything starts with awareness.

This simple tapping sequence helps wake up the body, stimulate circulation, improve proprioception, and bring your attention into the present moment. It’s one of my favorite ways to transition from sitting, working, or traveling into movement.

Try it for just a minute or two and notice what changes.

Your body is already communicating with you—sometimes it just needs a little help tuning in.

A few more minutes from this week’s Spirit Alive! movement break ✨

Rolling through the spine, reaching, rising, breathing, swinging, softening, waking up the body.

Movement doesn’t always need to be a full class or structured practice.

Sometimes a few minutes between tasks can completely shift your energy, circulation, posture, awareness & mood.

Put on one song.
Move in ways that feel good.
Let the body breathe a little 😊

One song.
One movement break.
That’s enough ✨

Spirit Alive! doesn’t have to be a full hour practice.

Sometimes it’s simply pausing between work tasks, putting on one song, and moving your body in whatever way feels good today.

Morning.
Between tasks.
After work.
Before bed.

No choreography.
No perfect form.
No pressure.

Just movement, breath, circulation, rhythm, sensation, play & reconnecting with yourself.

Props optional 😊

Waking up the body through rhythm, sensation, circulation & awareness ✨

This tapping warm-up is part of Spirit Alive! — a movement-based practice exploring vitality, ease, embodiment & joyful living through mind/body movement practices.

Notice how you feel.
Modify movements to support your body.
There is no perfect shape — only deeper listening, awareness & connection.

You can tap, shake, brush, caress, soften, energize… explore what helps you feel more alive 😊
