WCHS Class '91 Reunion

Nineteen of the thirty-two members of the Class of 1991 attended the 20 year reunion last night. Members came from as far away as Arkansas, Arizona, and Idaho to share this special evening of memories and laughter. Thanks to Shawn Hill, Jeff Anderson, and Steve Roesch for putting the evening together.

1 month left and counting

20 years ago this month, Rip City Trail Blazers were battling the former Seattle Supersonics in the playoffs.

With the news of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan this morning our prayers are with our three classmates -- Kazuhiko Iijima, Mimiko Nakamura, and Nana Tsurumi. As a class, the Class of 1991 has a higher percentage of Japanese members than any other in Westside history. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.

Here are some of the cast of "Hit and Misdemeanor" relaxing. Why is Kelly pointing her prop gun at Lisa's foot? No, Lisa, you don't get off school if Kelley shoots you in the foot.

What a fun play that was, particularly with Alicia and Cindy interrogating Mr. Lucas and Mr. Cooper after Kelly "randomly" picked them out of the audience. Ha!

This picture of Dusty and Jeff doesn't need a commentary, it speaks for itself. Ha!

Here's a picture from Senior Retreat at Round Lake. What is Chris Scalzitti going to do with that stick? An even bigger question is . . . "Where is Chris these days?" Anybody in contact with him?

Here is the original Westside -- "East meets West" -- Kazu and Dusty get ready to walk through graduation together. No matter where you live, East - West - North - or South, we hope you will make an effort to make it back to Portland for the reunion. There are lots of tales to tell since we flipped the tassles together.

What's that, Eric Logue in a straight jacket? No, that's Eric developing film in Mr. Porter's Room -- "The Pit". If you have any good pictures from your days at Westside that we could use in the reunion slide show, be sure to send them to Shawn Querin or Mr. Westerberg. We'd love to have as many as possible to catalog the memories.
