Support your local business, not the online retailers! Call or contact us through our website to tend to your eye care needs. We will walk you through our new THOROUGH and SAFE protocol!
Dear Patients,
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, Beaumont Vision will be temporarily closed. After careful consideration, we’ve decided it’s best to comply with the CDC’s recommendations.
We believe this is the best way to protect our valued patients and our employees. Currently, our intention is to reopen on April 20th, situation permitting.
We will be checking our voicemail and email during the closure and will do our best to respond within 3-5 business days.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our temporary closure may cause, but given the current set of circumstances, we believe it was the most prudent course of action.
We look forward to seeing you again when it is safe to do so. We wish you all health and safety during this trying time.
Thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Your Neighbors at Beaumont Vision
We are temporarily closed, stay tuned for a more concrete update.

Dear Patients, Following the arrival of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in Oregon, we feel the need to check in with our patients. We are hopeful that COVID-19 will not cause any interruption to our regular delivery of care but thought it wise to contact you due to the uniqueness of this situation.
In line with the County, State, and Federal recommendations that people stay home if they are sick during this time, we are requesting that patients not come into the office if they have flu-like or respiratory symptoms (fever, coughing, or shortness of breath). Please notify us as soon as possible if you will not be keeping your scheduled appointment. We will not be enforcing our regular office policy that requests 24 hours notice before canceling an appointment, and we will not be charging for appointments missed due to illness. We appreciate your patronage and understand this can be a very stressful time.
Please know that patient health and safety has always been a priority for us, and it is our policy to disinfect and sanitize all common surfaces. We are continuing to do business as normal and look forward to seeing you soon.

Sunglasses are usually associated with summertime, but protecting your eyes is important all year round. Bright winter sunlight can glare off of snow or water and the sun hanging lower in the sky can make driving, hiking, and all your winter activities more strenuous on your eyes. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, polarized lenses are a great idea!
Are polarized sunglasses the same thing as ultraviolet blocking sunglasses? If not, how are they different? Do I need polarized sunglasses and are they a better choice for me than ordinary UV-blocking sunglasses?
Check out our blog for more information on polarized sunglasses, and stop by Beaumont Vision anytime during our regular business hours to browse our selection of frames with our excellent opticians!
