2005 pilot had the unfortunate catastrophe of a broken timing belt. It bent one of the intake valves, after a full engine tear down its back up and running like it never happened, 200k and still runs strong.

All that drama for a starter replacement, typically the engineers don't make you pull the intake off to get to them but sometimes they like to mix it up.
