Creating Opportunities

Our Story

In November of 2016 I decided to start a business called Creating Opportunities where I create art with homeless people, buy their artwork from them, and then sell prints as well as the originals. I plan to create opportunities for people to get out of homelessness by becoming an artist which will hopefully eventually make a sustainable income so they can have what I take for granted; clean running water, a roof over my head and food to eat. I've had many conversations where homeless people tell me they don't need more handouts, they need ways of getting out of such extreme poverty. I believe that through giving them a pen, pencil, paintbrush, we are enabling them to work with a clean slate to create their own future. If you'd like to support my homeless friends, let me know!
