On new album The Conversation, Lockslip’s songs are powered by inexorable momentum, like blind horses barreling down mountainsides. 

Noah Baxter’s breakneck drumming fuels Lockslip’s stampedes, leading to world-ending breakdowns courtesy of guitarists TJ Jaeger and Nick Pinder and bassist Enrique Isla-Eisenacher. 

Above the fray, lustrous melodic passages occasionally appear like
sunlight through storm clouds. Sara G screams every word with absolute conviction, as if drawing from a bottomless well of horror.
