After 66 years, today we say goodbye to Lloyd Center as we know it.

For generations of Portlanders, Lloyd Center has been more than a shopping center. It has been a gathering place—a place for first jobs and first dates, holiday traditions, afternoons at the ice rink, visits with Santa, family outings, celebrations, and countless everyday moments that became lifelong memories.

We have watched generations grow up within these walls, and we are incredibly grateful to every employee, tenant, partner, family, and member of our community who made Lloyd Center part of their story.

Today is bittersweet, but it is also a celebration of everything that came before—and an opportunity to look forward with excitement to what comes next.

Buildings change. Cities evolve. New chapters begin. But the memories remain.

66 years. Generations of Portlanders. Countless memories. One unforgettable place.

Thank you, Portland, for 66 incredible years. ❤️

Here’s to honoring our past and looking forward to the future.

Lloyd Center will close its doors for the final time at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, marking the end of one of Portland’s most recognizable landmarks. Throughout its last few days, tenants, community organizations and supporters will host a series of farewell events, giving Portlanders one last opportunity to celebrate the place where so many memories were made.

Thousands of blooms, vibrant color, and unforgettable fragrance 🌹 The 136th Spring Rose Show from the Portland Rose Society is taking over the upper level above the Lloyd Center Ice Skating Rink with a stunning showcase of the Queen of Flowers.

Rose lovers of all experience levels are invited to exhibit their own roses and be part of this beloved annual tradition. Vases and water will be provided, and experienced PRS members will be on hand to help Novice and Junior exhibitors throughout the event.

Whether you’re entering your own roses or simply admiring the displays, come experience the beauty, elegance, and charm of thousands of roses on exhibit 🌹

Join and for Kids Day on April 25th from 2–4 PM!

For just $15, kids get admission and skate rental between 2–4 PM. There will be arts & crafts for kids, great music, and lots of family fun on the ice.
