I’ve been dreaming of creating a space that feels like a breath of ocean air — calm, coastal, and full of the photography that inspires me most.

So here it is.

This rebrand brings more shoreline reels, coastal photos, travel‑dreamer moments, and a peek into the prints I’m creating for your homes.

I’m so excited for this next chapter and grateful you’re here to see it unfold.

I don’t post here often, but this moment felt too special not to share.

Recently, I got one of those reminders about how small and connected the world really is.

A customer purchased one of my photographs — an image of the original, now‑dismantled Old Town Canoe building. It’s a popular print locally, but not something most people “from away” would recognize unless they had a personal tie to the place.

Her name stopped me in my tracks. It was the same name as the daughter of a family friend we lost in 2019. I didn’t know her well — she was in her late teens or early twenties when our paths crossed — but the combination of her name and this very specific photo felt like more than coincidence.

Normally, I include a handwritten note with a few facts about the print. This time, I followed a hunch and wrote from the heart:

“Laura,
If my suspicion is correct, your mom was one of my favorite people.
And I know she would want me to send you so much love.
Hope all is well and you love your little piece of home.
Lots of love,
Samm”

I left just enough of a hint for her to recognize the connection if it really was her. And honestly, I figured she might think I was a little crazy.

But she didn’t.

She reached out, grateful for the photo and the message — and she confirmed she was the Laura I remembered.

It was a small exchange, but it meant a lot. A reminder that grief, memory, and place have a way of weaving us back together when we least expect it.
