Our teachers are dedicated to offering fun and challenging classes with personalized attention. Performances by Night Flight combine breath taking aerial artistry and playful storytelling.

Getting those super swoll shoulders, back, & arms 😈
But really, when you finally get that move you’ve been working on for what seems like forever
What is the hardest part ❔
Not doubting yourself. You can seriously start at any age!

What is your aerial dream act ❔
Combining breakdancing with straps. I’m going to do it eventually!

I can walk on my hands down a flight of stairs! I’m now working on static balancing stuff on the canes

When I was 6 years old I took a baby circus class at Do Jump!
How long have you been training❔
I’ve been noodling on and off for the past 15 years!
What is the best part❔
The people of course! I also love the challenge, the growth, and versatility of all the different apparatuses and disciplines.
What is the hardest part ❔
The patience required for long term skills. And the constant meat suit maintenance to prevent injuries 😅.
How did you hear about night flight ❔
From friends and coaches! And googling “q***r circus pdx”
What is your aerial dream act ❔
Dance trap with some partner acro mixed in!
Anything else about yourself ❔
I’m in it for the fun! Certified 100% goofball. While I’m perusing a career in physical therapy, I hope circus is a part of my life for at least the next few decades.

I starting pole dancing and there’s so much cross over between pole and aerial that I started meeting people who do both; it felt inevitable that I would eventually try aerial!
How long have you been training❔
2 years!

I just really love being upside down

Taking rest days
How did you hear about night flight ❔
I was watching an episode of Bob’s Burgers where they were doing flying trapeze and I decided to google right then the closest aerial studio to me and Night Flight had a series that was about to start!
What is your aerial dream act ❔
Just having the opportunity to perform aerial! I don’t have a specific act in mind...yet.

When did you first learn about Aerial ❔My son and I did baby circus together at Echo Theater. When he was 5, the coach said- you need your own aerial class. I agreed.
How long have you been training❔ Ten years but not consistently.
What is the best part❔The people. I haven’t met a circus person I haven’t liked yet.
What is the hardest part ❔Not being able to do aerial when I’m recovering from an injury.
How did you hear about night flight ❔From another classmate when I was taking a class at another aerial studio. They thought I would benefit from the teaching style at Night Flight.
What is your aerial dream act ❔I have an act in mind where I’m a peacock that drags their heavy baggage to the trapeze, gets on the the plane (the trapeze), and when I disembark, my baggage is very light.
Anything else about yourself ❔I don’t think so.
