We buried my mom today after a long battle with liver cancer. She passed away just after midnight on Monday. My parents were married for nearly 60 years. My dad was her primary caretaker in the last few months, a very difficult task.
This experience has taught me to prepare because someone has to take care of the arrangements and expense if it’s not already in place. It’s mentally taxing on the family at a very emotional time.
My mom is now at peace and no longer in pain. I saw this rainbow tonight as I was closing the blinds. May there be peace and healing for my family.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I’m so sad to hear of Wadsworth’s passing from cancer complications. . You may remember this little guy who stayed with us a short time before going to Shelby . He had a bob tail and Shelby was able to get help for his constipation issues. He was adopted by , along with his sister, and lived a life filled with love. Rest peacefully handsome boy.
