Thank you to everyone who reached out to let me know that my account had been hacked. It happened the day after my Dad passed away. I spent countless hours and had several friends and family members trying to help me recover my account to no avail.
Finally, this morning, I was able to get it back.
If you've seen posts about crypto currency and me selling stuff that was my Dad's, it was NOT ME posting. Please secure your accounts if you'd like to continue being on social media and be vigilant if you see something that doesn't look quite right on someone else's account and let them know.
Knowing that someone was impersonating me, responding to condolences that people sent on FB, using photos of my family, and speaking of the passing of my father makes me sick and I hope that nobody was harmed by these evil people.
Good is greater than evil and will always prevail, I sincerely believe that.

"The days are long, but the years are short," could not be more accurate when it comes to raising kids.
When they were little, even the fun things like going to the pumpkin patch, could be so hard but I'm glad we did it anyway.
Now that they're older, I'm grateful that we've created traditions and they'll still go with us to the pumpkin patch for some family fun.
Getting a decent photo of the three of them still takes some effort, but we persist, even if that means the pumpkin patch photo has no pumpkins in it.🤦

When was the last time you literally laughed out loud when you opened an email?
Today I opened an email from this company wishing me a "Happy Crapaversary!" to commemorate one year of purchasing our toilet paper from them. I may have spit out some coffee when I read it.
This is not sponsored (not that that even happens when you barely have 300 followers) but I'm happy to give a shout out to this type of marketing genius.
The company is and their cheeky style (see what I did there) consistently brings a smile to my face. They also donate a portion of their profits to provide toilets to communities in developing countries, increasing sanitation and quality of life for fellow human beings.
Does it cost a little more? Probably, but I'm happy to support a company that does good things and makes me laugh while doing it.
I need more companies like this in my life. Where do you vote with your dollars for quality products, exceptional service and an overall amazing experience?

Three things this Tuesday afternoon.
Do these three things before listing your house:
1). Find a GOOD realtor. Seriously, it doesn't have to be me (but I'd like it to be). A good realtor will save you time and money before your house ever hits the market so find them first.
2). Declutter. It's not just you, we all live with more THINGS than what a buyer wants to see when they tour a house. Now is the best time to get rid of or pack up any excess items. You're moving anyway, so you might as well only move the things you truly love and can't live without.
3). Get your windows washed inside and out. This makes such a huge impact on the listing photos as well as the feeling buyers experience when touring the house. This should be done the same week as the listing photos are taken for the best results.

Oh Hey!
Who's up for a little encouragement?
Here it is: You can do hard things! You can. I know you can because I see it every day (especially this year, let's be real).
The really good news is that the more you push yourself, the more your capacity increases and suddenly something that once seemed hard doesn't anymore.
Why this caption with this photo? Because this is hard for me, and yet I know that spending time putting things out there on this little app is good for my business and I love connecting with all of you. The more I do it, the easier it gets.
So tell me, what hard things are you conquering lately?

Can I be honest with you?
Sometimes there is much more on my "to do" list than I have time to get things done.
It can be overwhelming, exhausting, and downright defeating.
If I'm really being honest, there are times when I deal with it by procrastinating, distractacting myself, or simply checking out for a minute.
That's not really dealing with the long list though, so what I've decided to do instead is focus on how good it feels to check things off of the list rather than on the list itself.
I still have the same amount to do but this simple shift in mindset is oh so helpful, and much more productive.
It's Monday and we could all use some ideas for getting in the right frame of mind to tackle the week.
