There’s an old axiom, “ a firefighter never runs into a burning building, they walk.” The truth behind this can be seen in all facets of our lives. Even in the mist of turmoil we can find the center and continue pushing forward. We may tire and grow weary however, we must persist.

Cost analysis, Employee relations and a deep dive into overhead expenses. Hope to complete this project in the next week and present to my client. Love this part of what I do
Starting to put together a short seminar. Getting back to the basics of what a leader is. Not who they are. Time to earn your team not dictate them. Thoughts? Love getting valued input. All is welcome. DM if you or your company may find this valuable.
New year, new you? Reality is, you can’t reinvent who you are. You set new goals, change old habits, create new relationships and let go of others. All of this, you are still you. You can help others to change there minds, learn that others are unchangeable, and those you shouldn’t even try. All this, you must realize who you are, is who you were, who you were afraid to be and who you’re willing to become. Don’t allow the notion that you need to be new to be relevant, to be successful and role model; you need to forget or abandon who you are. Be willing to be a flexible, unbreakable, amazing you.
Conflict, controversy, anger, passion, and empathy. All traits or characteristics some will call negative. We need to view them for what they are. The fuel to drive something forward. If controlled and expressed in a constructive manner, you will have an unstoppable, determined, and irreplaceable employee. Learn to allow someone to be themselves. They may teach you something new and take you to the next level.
We often ask for forgiveness. However we forget there's more to it. Admit what you've done wrong, ask to be forgiven, then prove that you're willing to change. Forgiveness shouldn't be to make you feel better, it's to help the ones you wronged to help heal.
It's more often than not that if the job is not getting done "right" or the way you want it done, maybe it's a training issue and not a competency problem.
Check and make sure you are leading above reproach first before deciding your staff isn't following.
I'm often surprised by how often a "leader" has to remind the team that they are the "leader". It's my opinion that the team knows and respect that because the leader has earned it. So next time you begin to tell your team you're in charge, think twice, maybe just maybe you need to set a better example.
If you are looking for a path to success. First you must quit finding all the reasons you are not finding it. You'll be amazed how quickly the path emerges.
We often over generalize when making observations and or statements. Try removing terms like "always, everyone, every time ". You may be surprised how much more receptive people are when they don't feel pinned down by generalities.
We often create more work for ourselves all in the sake of being right. It's okay if someone does the job different, as long as it gets done. You can be greatly surprised if you allow people to rise up to the task instead of squashing them with your own needs.
