Handcrafting Roadkill into Haute-Couture since 2009

It's come to my attention recently that the intentions behind my work may be misunderstood by some people. My work is in no way intended to be dark, evil, or otherwise negative. "Macabre"? Maybe. But just to be clear, when I work with bones, found objects, plants, etc. each item is utilized with the utmost respect and positive intention for these objects to be combined in a newfound beauty, celebrating new beginnings. I've always been fascinated by natural sciences and the treasures found at flea markets - put those together with a creative twist of fate and you get Skeletalia. It is inspiring. Life is precious and there is beauty in the most unlikely places. I hope that's what people resonate with when they covet, study, or wear Skeletalia.
