STAGES PDX is a two-day, working conference for early-stage startup founders in various industries, from healthcare and clean energy to travel and entertainment. All entrepreneurs encounter similar challenges when beginning new business ventures. By uniting these founders with successful entrepreneurs, participants will learn and implement the tools needed to overcome the odds and thrive in the marketplace.

General information

STAGES PDX features a Main Stage, Demo Stage, Media Zone, and sponsored products and services catering to new entrepreneurs. The Main Stage will host keynotes, panels and workshops. On the Demo Stage, entrepreneurs will pitch and receive public feedback from invite-only judges specific to their industry. And throughout STAGES PDX, attendees will evaluate market validity and concept scalability, establish a go-to-market strategy, understand how and when to raise money (if ever), take a crash course in startup legalese and financials, learn about finding talent, and more. STAGES PDX will also host networking-focused meals, fireside chats and work sessions.

This year, STAGES PDX will focus on equipping 300+ early-stage founders with the tools and networks they need to succeed. STAGES PDX will spotlight successful local businesses as keynote speakers. Elite and serial entrepreneurs from a variety of industries around the country will be chosen as additional speakers and judges. Future years will target founders in the launch, growth and prosperity phases as well.
