We can't believe Italian plums are ripe already, can you?

These fruits are all uniform and nearly plum perfect in Portland, look around for some in your neighborhood, these are ready to eat right off the tree! If you have more than you can use, you know where to find us at www.portlandfruit.org🤩

Our raffle winner and superstar volunteer Sam, received her “Fruit of the Month” installment this past week.

It came packed with apples and plums from the board president’s yard (thank you Kathy!) and raspberries from a neighbor of another board member. Bonus additions were flowers, a cucumber, basil and some tomatoes (🍅🍅 are fruits after all!).

If you feel like you are just hanging in there these days, we invite you to join us in harvesting, cider pressing, deliveries to local pantries or just hanging out with us to celebrate the summer!

Cider presses are easy community fun for all ages, and there are lots of great resources in town for buying fermenting supplies if that's your thing.😎🍻

Volunteering with the Portland Fruit Tree Project 🍏🍇🥳Project can be 2 hours once a year, or 2 hours every week; or anything in between!

Join Beth in helping us get the fruit all around us to people who can use more healthy fresh produce....and every volunteer shift includes taking home fruit for your own use!...so sweet!
