Words can’t describe how magical this shoot was last Sunday at Canon Beach with these two.. the rolling waves, sunset along the shoreline and the sea breeze. From the second we met on the sand, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like a meet up of old friends reconnecting. Carson and Trevor were so effortless together that my job faded away and I stood back to give them the space to breathe, connect and truly enjoy the sunset.
The absolute highlight was the very end of the night, as the sun set along the horizon the two went running careful though the surf, laughing and embracing as dozens of wings suddenly caught the air scattering upwards into the skyline. While simultaneously watching from afar and shooting I couldn’t help but smile behind the lenses as it instantly felt like living inside a movie, specifically the notebook scene “if you’re a bird, I’m a bird.” A session to be remembered. shoots

This ceremony and wedding will forever hold a special place in my heart, Brynne and I have known each other for many years through mutual friends, and when she asked me to photograph her and Mac’s wedding I was thrilled and happily said yes! The original plan was for a ceremony this October but with Mac’s dad’s health taking a bit of a curve ball to say the least the circumstances changed. Not only do they still plan for a fall ceremony but this intimate one was planned and family from all over the states flew in 6 months earlier than planned to celebrate these two’s love story and union. It was a beautiful night, and getting to walk down to Laurelhurst park for photos was the cherry on top. I look forward to this fall but will greatly cherish how special the night felt, knowing that life is short and is meant to be spent with loved ones, and how everything came together seamlessly to celebrate with friends and family! Congrats to you both!!! Can’t wait to do it again “soon” ! 🤍
