Been a while since I posted, but today is special.

In celebration of Earthday, I put out my new mason bee house. My neighbor gave me a bunch of the cocoons. Then the females will come to this little house and lay eggs. Then the cycle repeats.

Celebrate Earthday everyday!

Been a while and we need Earth Day more than ever. If we move to fix the earth and it will help fix all!

Tomorrow is Arbor Day; the last Friday in April.

I have been working on the Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in downtown Portland and the project is nearing completion. We have planted many plants and trees.

In celebration of this day - go and plant a tree, visit a tree or just take in the appreciation of what trees can offer us.

Happy Earth Day! Now go out and do something nice for your mother.

Ex-Portland official Toby Widmer named interim Transportation Bureau director 01/17/2013

Rather than exchanging gifts, (we really don't need anything anyway) we are want to do something similar to what we did the last couple of years - donate. There are people on the east coast from the Super Storm Sandy that need our help now and for years in the future to assist in getting their lives back to some sense of normal.

So, instead of sending out gifts or cards, we have donated to the American Red Cross for the victims that were affected by Sandy in honor of all of our clients, past and present.

Happy New Year!

Will finish up this year with another restoration project completed for a section Fanno Creek in Beaverton. This project involves installation of pedestrian pathways, removal of invasive and not-native plants and installation of new native plantings. Construction will begin this spring, following the award of a successful bidder. Will post in progress photos.

I traded out my obsolete irrigation heads for these new rotating nozzles and Toro pop-up bodies. These beauties put out about 1/2 the amount of water, allows for a longer run time and better soil saturation. Check out the other photos Based off the design of the world’s leading gear-driven rotor for golf applications, the Precision® Series Rotating Nozzle is powered by a proven gear drive and delivers wind resistant, multi-stream, multi-trajectory patterns.
