There is a difference between being used by God,
and using God.

Don’t harden your heart towards human suffering.

The church is called to make missionary disciples, not crusading converts. 

As believers in Jesus, we must do better. We have a tendency to focus in on winning arguments instead of serving the world we live in. What can we do to shine as lights in this world?

It’s easy to vilify those who think, vote, or live differently than us.
But Jesus calls us to a higher way — to see people as image-bearers, not enemies. 🕊️

💭 “With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.” — James 3:9

Let’s trade hostility for humility, judgment for mercy, and caricatures for compassion.
Because every person you meet carries the image of God.

🔍 Coaching Question:
Who have you been tempted to demonize — and how might you begin to see them through Jesus’ eyes instead?

Just because it can be proven to be “biblical doesn’t mean it is of the kingdom of God. Satan quoted scripture in the wilderness and sought to derail Jesus through the twisting of scripture.

Throughout history, people have justified horrific things by quoting scripture. We need to focus in on a Christ-centric interpretation of scripture, and lean into what is Christlike, not what is merely “biblical.”

Knowing the scriptures is important, and more importantly is knowing the Christ of scriptures.

Sometimes what we think is best for the cause of Christ, is the worst.
