Another Pono brew alert! Just had a pint of Pono’s POG Lager and Niumalu Coconut Imperial Porter at Loyal Legion Beer Hall in Beaverton! Get it before it’s gone! So good!

If you’re missing some Pono Brews, there’s a full keg of our Nui Nalu Imperial Stout at Nebulous Taproom! This beer is amazingly delicious! I got a little teary eyed when I saw it. I'd like to express a warm Mahalo to all of you who've been a part of our journey here at Pono Brewing. Your incredible support, especially when I visited to share our beer, meant more than just business; it's been about forging genuine connections and embracing the Aloha spirit.

I'd also like to give a special shoutout to two outstanding individuals, Larry Clouser and Erick Russ. Thank you for inviting me on this exciting adventure! I've gained valuable insights into the realms of social media, marketing, and sales, all while championing our brand and brews. It hasn't always been a smooth ride, but I'm grateful for the lessons learned and the good times we've shared along the way.

Having the opportunity to craft beer on a large scale was remarkable, and being mentored by Larry was a privilege. I look forward to the possibility of brewing alongside him again. Witnessing the joy our brews brought to people was incredibly fulfilling.

So, once again, a huge thanks to all of you. I'm looking forward to the chance of seeing you again in the future, with lots of smiles, laughter, and, of course, some really great beer!

To our friends and fans of Pono Brewing,

As seen by all the recent brewery closures, it’s no secret that craft beer industry is drastically changing and due to several factors it is not sustainable at the moment to the degree it was in years past. When we made the decision to shut down Pono Brew Labs, it was and still is a very costly process. Pono Brewing was supporting our Pono Brew Labs location and unfortunately it took too much of a financial toll on the business financially.

We are sad to let you know that Pono Brewing has ceased operations for now and is shutting its doors. We hope in the future to bring the brand back if the market supports it once we have recovered financially.

We ask that all of our accounts bear with us as we work out a plan to collect all of our kegs from the market over the next few weeks.

Thank you all for your support and the great times.

After many requests and months of waiting, we’re excited to share we now offer local beer and cider to go along with your pizzas! 🍻🍕

Every couple weeks or so we’ll serve a different variety of beer and cider from local breweries and cideries. To start it off, here’s what we have available —

Shimai Toshi | Yuzu Lager (Yuzu, an East Asian citrus, gives this lager a refreshing snap that’s slightly tart, with a delicate honey finish).

| Kölsch style ale with Pineapple (With perfectly refreshing pineapple aroma and taste, the natural acidity of the fruit balances out the sweetness of the Oregon grown pilsner malt).

| Strawberry Hibiscus Cider (Oregon Heritage Farms’ hard cider brand- This award winning and fan favorite cider is semi-dry with a big strawberry aroma and delicate floral notes.

| Passion Orange Guava Cider (Hawaiian inspired, a delicious blend of tart and tangy passion fruit, citrus and guava).
