UNE Physician Assistant Program

Congratulations to Dawn DeWeese-Moss '27 & Dawson Postl '27 for receiving a $2000 Scholarship from The Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee.

These scholarships were established in 2016 in memory of four young ladies from Maine that passed away from ruptured Brain Aneurysms or Brain Tumor:

*Kimberly Tudor was a graduate from UNE with a CNA certificate and BS in Sports & Fitness.
*Karolina Kurka graduated from UNH with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
*Cheyanne Audet received her BS in Nursing from the University of Maine.
*Jessica Heath was a valuable member of our Committee and passed from a Brain Tumor in 2019

On Sunday, September 20th they received thier awards at the KAT-Walk & Karo-5K for Brain Aneurysm Awareness at Payson Park.

Sarah was with us from 2021 - 2023 and taught Clinical Assessment then returned to her passion of Dermatology practice with Maine Health.

Well, teaching is also her passion and with all the wonderful things happening in the program & state, she wanted back in!

We are so grateful to have her back with us!
