On Saturday March 28th from 10:30am-12pm, Shawna Hartung will guide you through forest bathing, a practice that invites you to reconnect to the natural world and yourself.

Forest Bathing will help you:

🌳 Cultivate a sense of presence, connection, and ease.

🌱 Notice the beauty and detail of early spring.

🌲Experience the grounding effects of nature on the body and mind.

We have sliding scale equity pricing in an effort to create an inviting and inclusive community for all 🤝

💜 We will have a special guest who will create a one-of-a-kind poems on their vintage typewriter. They will be here in the garden from 10:30AM - 2:30PM

💚 Learn to observe the beauty of the garden in A Spring Garden Walkabout led by our Event & Programming Coordinator from 1PM - 2PM

💝 We're also selling locally handcrafted chocolate truffles made by 😍 These are vegan-approved and absolutely delicious.

Grab your binoculars and take part in the Christmas Bird Count here at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden!

With your enthusiasm and birding expertise, you’ll be gathering valuable data for the Bird Alliance of Oregon as a citizen scientist. All levels are welcome and will be guided by Anthony, who is leading the Christmas Bird Count.

Rain, rain come again, make the garden green again!

Rain is in the forecast all week this week, and with that in mind we’re doing a special “rainy week” promotion.

Come in any day this week (12/14-12/21) and receive a third off admission by giving the code “Petrichor” at the entrance.

Side note: Petrichor means the scent of rain on dry earth. The smell comes from oils from certain plants that are then absorbed by clay and soils which get released into the air when rain first starts to fall.

It’s already TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!! The first ever Crystal Springs Holiday Market is coming up. We cannot wait to see you all there! Check out some of our fantastic vendors and get ready to get festive.❄️💕

🍄Join us Saturday November 29th for a needle felting workshop! Learn to felt a mushroom ornament with our staff-person and experienced artist Zoe.

All materials will be provided. Those under the age of 18 must attend with an adult. Fee is $30 per person and covers the cost of materials and the full 3 hour session.
