Oaky Doaks Square Dance Club

Hi friends,
Darryl Clendenin could use a few dancers this Saturday, August 5th at the Oak Grove Community Center in Milwaukie: We need some folks to dance to new callers.
We will be meeting from 11am till 2pm. If you could be there for any of that time we would sure appreciate it! 😃👍🏻🎶

A few pictures from our final dance last week. We had a GREAT turnout of 74 dancers and enjoyed a tasty full potluck beforehand. THANKS to George Hermann for calling and to Sheri Milling and Julie Stiers for cueing. We appreciate each and every one of you who came out to not us farewell as a club. We’ll still be seeing you on the dance floor somewhere though! The club will be missed, but so many fond memories remain. 💞🎶🎤😊

We're very sorry to announce that it's the end of the road for our beloved square dance club here in Milwaukie. One final dance is planned in October. (We're dark until then.) It's been a huge challenge to run independent classes and attract new dancers over the past handful of years. Now the time has come to close our doors. We sincerely hope that everyone who has danced with us in the past will come for this final dance. We'll make it a good time, one last time. Please come join us on October 1, 2022 at our usual dance venue, Oak Grove Community Center, which has been a great place to gather all these years.
