This may be news for many - I am also an AP chemistry and math tutor - and have tutored perhaps over a 100 students over the past 15 years.
I have openings for 5 students this year who want tutoring in AP Chemistry or Calculus or both. If you are interested, or know someone who is interested, please send me a DM.
My website is below: www.plumpuddingchemistry.com
Here's a review that a parent left on Wyzant a while ago:
"Exceptional Tutor.
Vaishnavi is an exceptional tutor! She is patient, thoughtful, conscientious, hard-working, committed and extremely intelligent. She has been an extraordinary gift to our daughter and to our family. We highly recommend Vaishnavi."

Finding community is not an easy task, nor does it always work.
I have been in communities built for the purposes of venting and communities built for the purpose of learning and growth.
The first definitely didn't work, and I was surprised when the second didn't either.
Communities that align with your core value system - what you are, and where you want to go are critical.

One of the most ingenious ways I have seen binary numbers have been represented.
In fact I don’t think I have ever seen binary numbers visually.
If you have (or are) a visual or neuro diverse learner, please share this with them and drop a comment here on what they think.

Plum Pudding Chemistry is open to everyone for AP Chem for the first time! I am about to start online group AP reviews that meet 2x a week for 45 mins each.
Now, this isn't your typical Chemistry Tutoring.
For one, it will be almost entirely problem-focused.
Secondly, concepts will be in bite sized important concepts, easily understood and applied.
Who is it right for? If you thought you'd love Chemistry but everything fell apart after your high school class, this is for you.
If you are willing to practice, and put in the time, this is for you.
If you actually want to understand Chemistry, this is most certainly for you.
If you are looking to just clear an exam, or for easy hacks (though those exist), this may not be the best fit.
if you are interested, drop a note. And I would be grateful if you can share this with your friends who might be interested. The first group will start the middle of this month.(max 5 per group)

AP Chemistry is broken into 6 Big Ideas. And it is definitely a great time to talk about Big Idea 1!
Big Idea 1: What's the Idea? - Vaishnavi Sarathy You probably know that AP Chemistry is broken into Big Ideas: specifically six of them. My experience has been that in order to sustain your pace in AP Chem, it is really important to complete Big Idea 1 by October. Yes, I said October. But the good news is that Big Idea 1 comprises of …
