Clear out your closet and refresh your wardrobe, for free! Bring your gently used, fall and winter appropriate modest clothing for adults and children to swap with others in the community.

What to bring:
• Modest adult clothing (abayas, jilbabs, hijabs, etc.)
• Children’s clothes sorted by size (NB to age 10)

Please make sure items are:
• Clean
• In excellent condition
• Islamically appropriate

No limits on how much you can bring or take. Leftovers will be donated. Bring bags for your new finds!

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) has announced that full November SNAP benefits have been loaded onto EBT cards.

Before heading to the store, ODHS encourages checking your EBT balance prior by using the official EBT Edge website or mobile app.

We are deeply grateful for our community partners, food banks and local businesses who organized to support our neighbors and members during the gap in benefits. Your efforts helped ensure families had access to essential food and resources during a difficult time.

Portland Day of Dignity event took place from noon to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Park of the Elephant. The Day of Dignity campaign consists of a series of events held around the nation to help get people who are unhoused or from income-restricted households, access to such essential items and services as housing transition, job resources, food, medical services, haircuts, winter supplies, school kits, and hygienic products.
