It’s always an absolute blast to get to run around outside and do photoshoots with families. loves to remind me that we have been friends since pre-school! I love being from a small-town and knowing someone that long. Reshell and Jimmy have graciously hired me before for other big life milestones to capture important moments. Their property is amazing and as seen, there is quite the menagerie of feathered and furred friends. We always have a great time and their kids are hilarious.

Had a ripper of a show tonight

Fun in the fall! We’re just at about peak colors here in Portland. Had a great little park walk with and and their sweet daughters. We made good use of the fading light into sunset. Hit me up if you need photos for anything!

This was a pretty fun way to spend a Spring morning with these lovely folks! A celebration of love and family running around the PNW woods. Struck out on an Aurora mission with but I don’t think it was a total loss. I’m so incredibly grateful to live an easy drive away from places like this.

I bought my first house at 38 years young back in April in the SE Montavilla neighborhood. It was a massively stressful and overwhelming process. When I was about 16 I got my license and came to SE Portland as often as I could. I loved the record stores, coffee shops, bookstores, and music venues. I can walk to Mt. Tabor and ride my bike to work. Seems only fitting that almost 20 years later, I wind up back here. In those 20 years I’ve lived in at least 15 different rented spaces. Massive thank you to .in.pdx and for being my realtor and mortgage team, my dad .wenker for kicking my ass in the right direction with accounting and bookkeeping, and .pdx and for being my chosen family and letting me dirtbag my way into their guest room for two years. I couldn’t have done it without these people and so many more. I walked in and it felt like home. It’s so nice to have more room for woodpiles!

Might’ve been the best sunset I saw this year out at Nehalem Bay State Park for a camping trip
