Take a Peek Inside Our Pre-K Classroom!
Our Pre-K program, ages 3–5, is a place where learning happens through play, exploration, creativity, and the interests of each child!
Our teachers use the Maine Early Learning and Development Standards (MELDS) to guide curriculum planning while observing what children are curious about and building meaningful learning experiences around those interests.
🎭 Dramatic Play – imagination, language, cooperation & real-world learning
🎨 Arts & Creativity – expressing ideas through art and hands-on projects
🖐️ Sensory Exploration – discovering, experimenting & learning through our senses
🧱 Blocks & Building – problem-solving, math concepts & teamwork
🚗 Cars & Small-World Play – creativity, social skills & imaginative adventures
📚 Library Area – developing a love of books, stories & early literacy
🧸 Cozy Corner – a comfortable space to relax, regroup & enjoy quiet moments
⭕ Circle Time – songs, stories, conversations, movement & group learning
Every area of our classroom provides opportunities for children to grow across the MELDS developmental domains, while our teachers intentionally extend learning based on what the children are saying, doing, wondering, and exploring.
✨ We believe children learn best when they are excited about what they are learning!
Come see what makes our Tininty day school Pre-K program such a fun place to learn, grow, imagine, and discover! 💛
